A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the Charles Band produced sci-fi flick Arena and I thought it would be a good opportunity to follow up with this old interview with Band. It originally appeared in two parts starting in Fangoria #56 (above) which was published August 1986. It was short enough that I posted the whole thing in clickable images instead of a download.

Thanks for posting this particular era of low budget filmmaking. It's certainly a bygone period that totaly captivated me. I still love the homemade effects, use of abandoned buildings for sets, substandard/over the top acting, etc. Kudos for mentioning Kincaid's Robot Holocaust, which to me exemplifies these "bad movie" aesthetics so well.
You bet, I'm glad I can share with people who appreciate it as much as I do. Robot Holocaust and Tim Kincaid are among my favorites of all time, kudos to you too.
